Why Is My Brand Not Showing Up?
Symptom: AI engines do not mention your brand for prompts where competitors appear.
This usually means AI engines cannot read your pages, cannot corroborate your brand, or simply favor competitors with a stronger footprint. The fix is to make your pages readable, earn corroboration, and contest the specific prompts you are missing from.

Common causes
Section titled “Common causes”- Pages are not readable by AI crawlers
- Weak third-party corroboration
- Thin or unclear category pages
- Competitors hold the sources AI engines cite
- Prompts are too broad to match your specific offering
How to diagnose it in Rankry
Section titled “How to diagnose it in Rankry”- In the Visibility view, confirm which prompts and models you are missing from.

- In Sources, find domains that cite competitors but not you.
- In Compete, see who wins the prompts you are missing from.
How to fix it
Section titled “How to fix it”Fix crawlability first, since a page AI engines cannot read cannot help you. Then publish clear category and comparison pages for the missing prompts, earn citations on the sources competitors hold, and add structured data.
When results take time
Section titled “When results take time”Allow several reporting cycles after a fix. AI answers update gradually, and a competitor strengthening at the same time can mask your gain.
