Add Competitors

You add competitors so Rankry can measure your visibility against them. During onboarding, Rankry suggests competitors for your category, and you keep, remove, or replace them. Once set, every report scores your competitors the same way it scores you and computes head-to-head results across the five models.

  • Why competitors matter
  • How to choose competitors
  • Competitor limits by plan
  • Competitors Rankry finds for you

When an AI engine does not recommend you, it recommends someone else. Tracking competitors shows who wins each prompt, how often, and which sources they are cited in. That turns a vague visibility gap into a specific target.

Pick the brands a buyer would realistically consider alongside you. Direct, same-category competitors give the most useful comparison. You can adjust competitors after onboarding from the Compete view or project settings.

Beyond the competitors you choose, Rankry surfaces brands that keep appearing in your answers. These can reveal rivals you did not consider, which is useful for newer or shifting categories.

Base tracks 5 competitors per project and Pro tracks 10. Enterprise is custom.
