Add Your Brand

You add a brand to Rankry by entering your domain. Rankry scans the site and detects your brand name, category, business model, and location. You review the detected details and adjust anything that is wrong. Each brand is a separate project, so agencies and multi-brand teams keep brands isolated.

  • Starting from your domain
  • The fields Rankry collects
  • Why accurate details matter
  • Editing brand details later

Enter your domain on the first onboarding step. Rankry normalizes the address and scans your site to pre-fill your profile, so you confirm rather than type everything by hand.

FieldPurpose
Brand nameThe name Rankry looks for in AI answers
WebsiteThe domain Rankry audits and matches against citations
Category (niche)Drives the generated prompt set
Business modelOnline, local, or hybrid; affects location handling
Country and regionTargets prompts to the right market
City, state, or ZIPUsed for local businesses

The category drives the prompt set, and the brand name drives matching. If the category is too broad or the name is wrong, your report will be less accurate. Confirm both carefully during onboarding.

You can update brand details from project settings after onboarding. Changing the category may regenerate parts of your prompt set.

Yes. Your plan sets how many brands (projects) you can run. Base includes one brand and Pro includes up to five.

What if Rankry detects the wrong category?

Section titled “What if Rankry detects the wrong category?”

Change it on the business profile step or in settings. The category controls which prompts are generated.

Section titled “Does the brand name need to match my legal name?”

Use the name buyers and AI models would use for you, which is usually your product or brand name rather than your legal entity name.
