Visibility Tracking

Visibility tracking measures how often AI models mention and recommend your brand across your tracked prompts. Rankry reports a Visibility score with a per-model breakdown, your average Position inside answers, and the trend over time. You find it in the Visibility view and on the Dashboard.

  • What Visibility measures
  • Where to find it
  • How to interpret it
  • Best practices and limitations

Visibility is the share of your prompts where the brand appears, shown overall and per model. It pairs with Position, which records where you rank inside an answer, so a high Visibility with a poor Position still signals a problem.

Open the Visibility view from the sidebar, or read the headline numbers on the Dashboard. Each score links to the AI responses behind it.

Low visibleRarely mentioned
InvisibleNot mentioned at all

Read Visibility together with Position. Being named last in every answer is a weaker result than the raw mention rate suggests.

  • Track buyer-intent prompts, not only branded ones, so you see whether you are discovered at all.
  • Watch the per-model view; a strong average can hide a weak model.
  • Compare your Visibility against competitors in the Compete view, not against an absolute target.
  • Re-check Visibility after each content change to see what moved.

AI answers vary between runs, so read the trend rather than a single report. Low Visibility can be a content problem or a crawlability problem; the AI Readiness audit helps separate the two.

No. Rankry reports it per model because the models disagree. See Why models give different answers.

Why is my Visibility high but my Score low?

Section titled “Why is my Visibility high but my Score low?”

Because the overall Score also weighs Position, Sentiment, and Diversity. Being mentioned poorly or inconsistently lowers the Score.
